The Way Memory Moves

“The Way Memory Moves” is about how memories stay with me, fade, or get lost. I began by recording a drill from an unfamiliar angle. It’s an object I often fetched for my father while we built our house together. From there, each object I filmed led me to the next, as one memory triggered another. The piece follows that chain of connections, guided by what surfaced in the moment.
